Constructor Details

ArrayTypeCode

public ArrayTypeCode(TCKind array_of)
Create a primitive array type code, defining the sequence TCKind.tk_sequence) with the given member type.
Parameters:
array_of - the sequence member type.

ArrayTypeCode

public ArrayTypeCode(TCKind this_type,
                     TypeCode array_of)
Create a primitive array type code, defining the array, sequence or other type with the given member type.
Parameters:
this_type - the type of this type (normally either sequence of array).
array_of - the sequence member type.

Method Details

content_type

public TypeCode content_type()
            throws BadKind
Return the array component type.
Overrides:
content_type in interface PrimitiveTypeCode
Returns:
the array component type
Throws:
BadKind -

equal

public boolean equal(TypeCode other)
Return true if the other TypeCode defines the array, having elements of the same type. The sizes of arrays are not taken into consideration.
Overrides:
equal in interface PrimitiveTypeCode
Parameters:
other - the other TypeCode
Returns:
true if other is an array with the same component type.

id

public String id()
            throws BadKind
Returns the agreed Id in the form of IDL:omg.org/CORBA/ {type name} Seq:1.0.
Overrides:
id in interface PrimitiveTypeCode
Returns:
the Id of this TypeCode.
Throws:
BadKind - if the content type is not one of the constants, defined in TCKind. This package class should not be used as TypeCode for the arrays, holding the user defined components.

length

public int length()
            throws BadKind
Return the array length.
Overrides:
length in interface PrimitiveTypeCode
Returns:
the length of the array.
Throws:
BadKind -

setLength

public void setLength(int l)
Sets the array length to the supplied value.
Parameters:
l - the new length.
